Are you distro hopping? That’s when my grub would fail on me on a monthly basis.
Have you tried running Office in a bottle?
So he nuked the OS on purpose and then blamed Linux.
IMHO KDE is a better option than gnome. No need to tweak the UI to solve those issues.

The graph represents my experience with The Simpsons. Back when they got their movie for the 10th anniversary, the serie was already struggling with the audience. I believe that was the point where they changed the animation to a horrible 3d rendering and, at least in my country, the started having troubles negotiating with the original voices we all grew up with.
Honestly at this point I believe I haven’t missed much from the series since the 9th season. They should just let it die at this point, as they should’ve done it in 2007.
I just nuked last night my fedora system running gnome and fresh installed Kde. Awesome timing.
How so? I miss the old gnome, but I have accepted gnome 3 for what it is. Kde was quite interesting for me back in 2012, but it didn’t perform well with my old setup. What’s new with kde? Id like to give it a try, but I’m too old to break my SO by having both gnome and kde on it.
I don’t get the people down voting you… It’s not like services are free. I’ve been paying for Plex since 2019, and I just recently got a lifetime pass. It’s only fare to pay for it to use it …
