Just chiming in to include that hosting a modded Minecraft server is relatively easy as well. You use a modded version like Fabric and put the mods in the mods folder in the MC directory on your host. Users have the same mods in their mods folder and it just works normally. Some mods are server-side only

I still haven’t been able to get wake from sleep working in distros with Wayland on my PC with an NVIDIA GPU. Tried in EndeavourOS and Garuda. It crashes trying to wake from sleep every time. I’ve tried everything in the arch wiki and search engine results like modifying config files and whatnot, no dice.

Yep I create smart collections and then hide them from the main library exactly like you described. Once I passed 2K movies I really needed collections to make it easier to find things to watch

When I first returned to Linux several years ago I started with Ubuntu, since it was the only distro I had used. I got cobfused when I installed Firefox and other apps via apt but instead got snap instead. This (very miniscule) gripe is enough of a reason for me to not recommend Ubuntu to new users anymore.
