  • It sure was not for me, the minimalist / efficient modern take they went for, was the antithesis of my thoughts process. Good for portable devices is probably true, that’s why I couldn’t stand it on a desktop, it felt like it was meant to take over Android on tablets. it was a huge change.

  • I dropped gnome when they trashed the desktop for the new tablet like fad. Went to xfve, then mate, cinnamon, KDE… to me gnome with Compiz fusion was the pinnacle of desktops. I get why they wanted to start fresh, but it broke my perfect setup. I haven’t even bothered to look back since then, how did it evolve?

  • For my part I like how psycho history is like thermodynamics. Harry seldom is not predicting the future as much as tweaking a closed system’s evolution. The galaxy is huge and populated enough to be governed by statistics, yet estill limited to be closed system. The “Mule”? I know only the French name Mulet" does throw a wrench in the whole thing aka chaos. That is why there are two foundations the second one manages the unpredictable events.

As for the writing style well that’s a matter of taste, I love Asimov’s style but am not literate enough to explain why.

  • I love it. I’d get lots of exercise, enjoy a cool underground slide and fix the world. To make it really high output, you should ad a very large trap intake for the window users that will inevitably climb up to complain they can’t game on Linux. Now you are going to need lot of bait sentences that will trigger a Linux enthousiast. Here are some. ; > I wish I could apply all updates at a convenient time> or > I have these MRI image I want to look at> who has more?
