Is the entire world now lead by far-right authoritarian now? A 70bn oil company suing a non-profit for defamation, what a load of bullshit.

Looks like we have a noob that wouldn’t survive 10 minutes in a kitchen lobby here. Everyone knows that cooking with steam preserves nutrients, enhances flavor, and retains the natural texture of food.
If your in for a wild ride, you can post something like “Steam sucks”, or ask anything about “Hexbear”. If you just want positive attention, go with “What’s the best distro for…?”
Bandcamp to buy albums but if you really need a streaming service similar to spotify, Tidal offers better quality and gives at least 3x more to artists.
Looks a bit like Freetube maybe?
Don’t use amazon.
People paid for Netflix?
It’s actually not even computer related. The government has a law about 2FA for all institutions. They’re a lot of solution possible but of course, they forces you to use ms authenticator.
I’m from Montreal. One of my friend work for the city. I remember I was shocked when she told me they buy most of their from amazon. Isn’t it just common sens to buy local? It’s not news that amazon is a fucking disgusting soul-less business. Same goes for all the gafam. I work for colleges and a university and the addiction to Microsoft is fucking insane. It’s to the point where it’s now even impossible to work or study in an institution if you refuse to give all your personnal data to Microsoft. What a fucking stupid society we have built.
Oh please honey, you gonna scare them. Now kids, welcome to Lemmy! Take a minute to visit and make yourselves confortable. Tomorrow I’ll show you my Nobara.
Oh dont worry, that’s not what I tell people.
The fedi could destroy the whole Gafam ecosystem overnight if people would just move to it. But most people are selfish idiots.
Especially for Redditors, Lemmy is such a no-brainer alternative. I think I’m gonna try to do more, and try to bring some of my audio communities out here by promoting Lemmy in the subs.
MacOS use to be the best. Pretty sure Gnome is based on it, but macOS keeps adding security options that makes things more complicated. Every single plugin is now blocked by default, lots of drivers need you to modify security options in safe mode to be installed, it’s a pain. It use to be great but these day, Gnome is better IMO.
I work on macOS 90% of the time. It’s super well design, but it gets worse with each release. The security options are way too intrusive. Gnome is much more intuitive these days.
Both Gnome and KDE are 100x better than win or macOS. I use KDE for me but I install Gnome on my familly 's stuff.
Asahi Linux is pretty solid these days.
Just use a translator and state it in your post. You can literally do this with a simple right-click in firefox. Enough with the anglo domination.
