Part of the problem is many of the users just don’t get jokes.

You can post something that is blatant, obvious satire, and no matter how obvious or ridiculous, someone will argue about it.

Much of the userbase is fundamentally unable to understand humour.

Or they upvote anything that aligns with their political views, regardless of quality, see the posts of Pizzacake comics as an example.

How I want a windows install is “working, with no BS”.

It comes out the box working, all I needed to do was disable Onedrive on boot. I haven’t even bothered to change the background, and probably won’t.

Lemmy really struggles with satire, this was always going to be an uphill battle.

There’s also a number of things you have to click “no” on, like a free trial office or Onedrive.
