No, I got your point. I mocked it because your point was stupid.
No, I got your point. I mocked it because your point was stupid.
Yup, thats it. People are literally saying that its okay to commit violence against anyone who works for any kind of insurance company. Even the cleaners of a home insurance firm.
Well done you for understanding the situation.
Imo, you deserved better than that.
Also, an okay-ish self depicting gag is often a good off ramp, if there’s no genuine ill will between people. I usually take them, as it keeps things light.
Not being horrible. I just wish someone had told me stuff like that. I’m not saying you’re young. Im just saying, I have too many grey hairs for your mom jokes.
But, If it makes you feel any better, I wish I wasn’t too old for them too.
Jokes on you. I’m wet from both.
Oh, is that what that thing was? I wondered why i kept getting wet.
We should build some kind of a moat around the UK. If we manage that, while not full proof, I have no doubt that banning it in the UK will be easier to do than somewhere without a moat.
I always knew that mountain was cool really.
I’m sure that made sense, followed on naturally from the conversation and didn’t just sound like unhinged ranting and deflections in your head, at least.
True or not, it would take something very special for the new Labour government to have already of given things to the people of the UK, seeing as Parliaments only been back for 2 weeks, don’t you think?
I mean, I have moderate expectations at best. I hope they don’t make things worse but, at the same time, I also think they’ll fall well short of achieving time travel.
Were you expecting time travel? I think you might be disappointed, if so.
The labour party is certainly flawed but you have to remember all they’ve given the people of the UK, in the brief times they’ve been in power (relatively speaking).
I’m not claiming it will fix everything but I would argue that the UK and just about every country thats had a labour movement that got into power benefited from it. Well, the 99% did.
Unless you know when the revolution is coming, it might be better to make alternative arrangements. Short of running to the hills and joining a commune, we’re quite deliberately not given any other option than to vote for better oppression.
If only there was some kind of proven road map where countries who has been dominated by their ruling elite using the two party trick went on to form a kind of labour movement that forced a third choice on the ruling class…
Sexism certainly does. Telling women that their place is in the kitchen and making/raising babies is sexist.
Not at all but its often a trope put out by right wingers. So, I can understand the confusion.
Fascism, at its heart, is corporatism fully realised. Fascism is also just capitalism when you try to say no. Of course, the nazis pretend that X company is nationalised but its profits are all given away to cronies, be it 1930s Germany and italy or 2020s Russia.
Left wing ideology is the community, as a whole, must own both the government and the means of production. Right wing ideology is the opposite of that where the private owns the government and the community as a whole, as if you were wages slaves or cattle.
Fair enough, most people tend not to enjoy being incapable of understanding something so very simple. I mean, if you enjoyed that, I can only imagine how much fun you’d have disagreeing with what was actually l being said.
Oh well, I’m glad you’re still managing to find a way to have fun though. Well done you.
