I severely hope that people aren’t using LLM-AI to do reasoning tasks. I appreciate that I am likely wrong, but LLMs are neither the totality or the pinnacle of AI tech. I don’t think we are meaningfully closer to AGI than we were before LLMs blew up.

Honestly I think a lot of what is held up as AI authored is just written by human hacks. It learned it’s bad writing by reading us.

If it’s sending information to Microsoft then it has clearly been hacked. Likely by Microsoft. It was very nice of that young man to break protocol and blow the whistle on this whole thing. You should send him an itunes gift card as a thank you.
And there generally is, most libraries have a catalogue or at least a directory explaining the numbering system at a topic level. Thing is, this sign doesn’t just help people come to the library wanting help with these things. It helps people in the library who are experiencing this and didn’t know they could find a book to help them.
Hell some people don’t even know they need help with these things until someone offers.
