I agree with everything you said at the top and this comment as well. You don’t have to be mean, cruel, or shitty to the bad actors. In fact the best case scenario is to make your case once and then walk away. It’s much easier to talk about than to actually do, but it’s really effective. If you assume they’re not trolls or bad actors, even better. All of these actions curtail flame wars, which is what they’re after anyway if you’re correct that they’re a bad actor or troll.
It’s more of a paint program, and it’s great if you have a pen and tablet. I haven’t tried out gimp for while, but it was more of a photoshop alternative at that time. I think Apple’s version of Krita would be Procreate, but Krita is free.

So is piefed an app or another type of fediverse? I’m not sure I understand. It looks like it talks to both Mastodon and Lemmy, but I could be wrong.
While those are great, I meant between the different activity pub apps.
So, I watched the whole thing and they mentioned castopod (podcasts) and owncast (live streaming). He also mentioned hashtags to find what you’re looking for. Is there a search engine for across the fediverse? For example, that would be amazing to go there and find hashtags from pixelfed and castopod and owncast even if they don’t communicate with each other. It’s not about instance finding, but about topic finding. That search engine would be the bomb or does it already exist?
Having been one of under 10 people on the bad place getting people to mask up during the pandemic, it is absolutely positive to post about things. I provided proof from before the pandemic about how masks can help and which types. It was proof that saved lives and thank you to a little known mask company for posting that while unknowingly helping in the future.

Does anyone know a range for using their POD? I see they connect with Etsy, so I went there and tried to get a price idea and everything is incredibly cheap. Is this an example of using a POD print farm or do they print them themselves?
