Psychological torture is still torture
Psychological torture is still torture
That’s what you do if you actually want info. Torture is just for the sadism, it isn’t effective.
Do the programs you develop run on wine? It could be an option while developing, but either way you’ll have to QA it on windows at some point.
Without a critical mass of people, niche communities tend to have very few posts and comments. I wish there were more general communities like the early days of reddit instead of going straight into hundreds of dead communities.
This isn’t really how this format works but ok
I’m not sure how this is measured, but from what I’ve seen by using mastodon a bit, they have a lot of bots that repost content from other sources, so in that way it feels a lot less active.
The very generic message makes me inclined to think so too
Let’s be honest here, they only care because when someone inevitably fucks up, people will think the fault is with windows.
Me lowering my heart rate in the body.config file because I think I know better (a typo immediately kills me)
It’s true that a big slice of gamers play games with anti-cheat solutions that don’t work on linux. That said most of those aren’t even on steam, which is the biggest pc game marketplace, so I’m not sure it’s that big of a dealbreaker for that many people.
If Twitter is any indication, Discord would have to fuck up big, and for a long time for people to switch.
Niches really need a way to advertise themselves and then congregate in one place. It’s a bit sad to see two communities for the same thing in different instances and neither get the critical mass of posters needed to survive.
Unless you referring specifically to the original deck’s screen, I dont see a point in paying way more for specs that if you try using will get you a battery life of 30min.
And as someone who thought the trackpads were pointless: they make a lot of games you wouldn’t expect perfectly playable. I personally have been playing stellaris on the deck and it’s been great.
Just skip that step and get the deck. It’s the best handheld anyway.
I mean the author has simply ignored this issue. If you look into it there are a few that people simply do not know how to generate, so without the maintainer it’s impossible to make a PR solving this.
I wish more people understood this: Riot’s anti-cheat isn’t perfect and you can find how to cheat online fairly easily actually, but you have to jump over so many hoops and spend a fair amount of cash to do it (depending on method) that it’s basically an exercise for motivated hackers that want to prove a point, not your script kiddie that wants easy wins.
How so? Most social media shows who liked stuff, it does make sense to consider it for lemmy.
The vast majority of people weren’t doing political marriages.
Not only do the 13th and 14th gen crash, but vendors ask for about 1000 dollars more for supporting servers with those chips.
I mean if people move to steamOS how is that not a win?
