You can buy audiobooks outside of Audible: https://soundbooththeater.com/series/dungeon-crawler-carl/
For me the advantage of Bluesky is that I can own my identity. I can reserve [email protected] and use that, without having to run my own instance.
With Mastodon I’d have to put up a full-ass server instance and worry about federation etc just to have my “own” identity instead of [email protected] or something
ICE would say “Papers, please” to him
You do know why they schedule posts? Because of more engagement 😀
Who would ever use a social media tool like this if they’re no interested in “corporate slop”?

(On a proper forum we could just point them to a FAQ thread, but Meta makes is intentionally hard because ✨engagement✨)
There is a map like that out there, if I remember correctly like 40+ states had “did not vote” win…
If I can’t buy it, I will pirate it with zero moral issues.
I own over 1000 DVDs and a couple hundred BluRays, but will pirate anything that gets removed from streaming or isn’t available in my region for some shitty licensing reasons.
I don’t want to “just” drag and drop anything, it’s 2025.
I want to have a service that keeps track of what books I have read/listened and what’s my location in them.
Then I can plug into that service on multiple different devices and the state is automatically shared between them. I can pick up any computer with a browser and keep listening where I left the book on my phone.
