It will never replace human interaction, but maybe, for those that would otherwise end up living their life without any kind of relationship, maybe for those or could be an alternative kind of interaction.
There are people, who go through life alone, for whatever reason - interaction is interaction. It will never replace anything, but may offer an alternative way to be able to at least interact.
