Searching for some huge portions of food
Wow, I can almost hear and smell this picture. Absolutely Gorgeus!
I really like this painting. The concept, that people just walked home after church seems so unfamiliar. Can not imagine how long that took.
Huh, funny to see a painting of Klee here. My great grandfather was actually a big fan of him (for him Klee was contemporary art) so I was dragged to some exhibitions by relatives. But still, Klee is not for me. I always wonder what people find fascinating about his paintings and I really want to understand! Maybe you have an answer or opinion for me?
Die Bart, die.
Brødnums is great! I think they gave a lot of artists a roof over the head, when they couldn’t afford otherwise and eben accepted payment via portraits. But it’s been a while since I visited, so my memory could be false.
Oh to be that smol cat!
I would be stoked to have a Raphael of me :-)
This painting is fun. I almost feel like they are watching me :-D
This…is watercolour?
He has vibes of a very intelligent but chill guy. Great Artwork!
This is actually a often very inportant point. Art always evolved with society and politics are a big part of that. Art history is amazing!
I think it was near or in Skagen, I was on a late-ish summer vacation.
Such a nice picture! I saw the original this year, the exhibition was great.
This seems strangely modern, probably because I am used to old still-lifes being very darkish.
