I think they edited a picture of it in the middle of the day to have all the lights on, then they shopped that photo onto a generic sunset photo and thus the lightings all wonky like a late 90’s video game.

I sort of understand where they’re coming from. In a similar fashion, I can’t stand the kid on the cover of MAD magazine. The best way to describe it is a sense of ancient queasiness but even that doesn’t accurately describe my discomfort, not to mention why. The facial expressions in the OP also give me that vibe, but to a much smaller degree.

I sold my 3d printer for this reason because there’s no where I can keep it other than my tiny room. I want at least a large storage space that can be ventilated to turn into a sort of creation studio resplendent with a printer, sowing machine, soldering station, etc.
