What? I had no idea! I manually migrated my subscriptions over when I switched!
It was hard for me, so I vote everyone must manually do it, for character building or some such bullshit.
I always mention whenever I see libro.fm brought up: if you don’t have a local store you want to support for whatever reasons, Firestorm in Asheville, North Carolina is a fantastic refuge for the local queer community, it’s a worker cooperative, and they’re struggling to survive. Please consider them if there isn’t another local place in your own community. With the big book stores and then Amazon, a lot of communities don’t have a physical local shop anymore, so if someone has a plug for their local, I think it’s worth making on these kinds of threads.
Excuse me, this is Me Erasure. I am beautiful in my own way, tyvm. It’s not my fault I had a weird evening in which a genie wish went wrong, and John Cleese loved me carnally.
My guess would be they’re using the all feed? Idk, I’m not one of those people lol
There are folks who just instantly down vote anything 3d printer related, I think it’s a plastic waste thing?
Does it have even fewer words?
Either way, I excitedly anticipate almost understanding the posts! Lol
I could see this being the future of tattoos in general. Most tattoos are designed digitally, or at least go through a digital phase. Load the image and hit print. No more shitty “my artist was drunk that day” posts, which I’m sure are actually rare as hell, but scare so many people off of getting a tattoo.
Basically, it’d take out the human element and make the experience a little shittier, but with a more polished (again, less human) final project… So it fits 100% perfectly in line with everything we do as a society.
I will definitely check that out and try to use it before checking marketplace, but I honestly can’t imagine I’ll find anyone selling anything near me. I’m fairly rural, and even the nearest “city” isn’t exactly a thriving metropolis.
Googled it and couldn’t find an answer. WTF is a rumschlumpel?
Only ones I use are YouTube and fb marketplace because Craigslist is totally dead here, but it’s from an alt account I’ve never used for anything at all.
Back when Boomer humor was at least a little anti rich/elite
Okay… So I need to go be homeless in California before it splits, I reckon. Get a Cali ID. I am not, I repeat, absolutely fucking not, getting stuck in this shit hole with its new republican supermajority after all the blue states leave. I don’t even like the democratic party, but I will be fucking fucked if I stay in the United Christofascist States of Trumperica
Thankfully, they’ll never let anyone leave. Ever.
I’m really excited for it. I might actually be able to get my family off Whatsapp because of fuckerberg, but I can’t get them to move twice. I’m debating pushing signal now, or waiting it out for sup
I forgot about spacehey! I made an account and never got around to setting it up. Shame it’s not part of the fediverse, though! Myspace had that part where you could, like, post a random letter or something that wasn’t confined to your friends. I can’t remember what it was called. I just remember Mrs. Abnorman Punkrockwell used to post open letters. Lmao. Anyway, it would be perfect for integrating into Mastodon, and Myspace groups would be perfect for integrating into Lemmy.
Honestly, friendica seems cool, in the same way Facebook seemed cool in the early days, but if we’re remaking social media for the fediverse, can we try to remake Myspace instead?
Update me when you do? I want one, but can’t afford something that won’t work well, so I haven’t looked into too hard. Lemme know what you get
For my microwave its 20 second intervals. But also, let’s say I open the door mid-run, if the tray is rotating clockwise, when I restart it it will rotate counterclockwise. Every time you open it it reverses it’s rotation.
I don’t know if all microwaves do this, or just mine. I never really had cause to notice until I started making desserts and candies, where you often nuke for 10 seconds, stir, 10 seconds, stir to melt chocolate. Easiest to just set for 40 seconds and open/close than it is to reset each time. This is the only microwave I’ve done that with, though, so idk if it’s common
Nothing has come along to replace the Internet because we didn’t elect Al Gore, he hasn’t had the platform to develop a replacement to his original invention of the Internet.

I’m okay with this. I may be changing my username…
