Might just be the media I was using, but every caption language loaded on screen and couldn’t be turned off after the update lol it was quite the book on screen
Starts getting into demarcation land at that point, because the OS defines what files are opened in which program. Just saving makes sense as a compromise though!
I mean… You have to explicitly hit “open”, and it requires you to do so? This is like saying email has a vulnerability because it lets* me open files sent there?

BT Sync no longer in vogue here? That’s what I’ve used to both sync and distribute certain things. Used to use it for my image backup until immich came along and stole my heart. Still use it for phone backups
Expanding on this, I also have wireguard setup if I’m not on my home WiFi so can access “as needed” that way

I have a script to self-sign 10 year certs on internal traffic only, and then added my public cert to devices needing it. I’m going to be really annoyed in a decade, but until then I’m having a ball 🙂
