Hello from Mastodon.
All of these “talk” ActivityPub so Pixelfed should already integrate in some form with Lemmy.
I usually only use the terminal when I don’t find an alternative, but powershell usually feels a bit saner than bash.
I’ve also tried nushell, also nice, but in a few situations powershell despite usually being verbose was more “elegant”.
I’m glad powershell is cross-platform nowadays. It’s a bit saner.
Better would be to leave the 1970s and never interact with a terminal again…
You can get the LTSC ISOs directly from Microsoft, and activate with https://massgrave.dev/
Here in Brazil we have native stingless bees, they are awesome and very cute, but European honeybees do outcompete them.
Thankfully there are beekeepers that work with the native species, but as they produce way less honey, it’s less lucrative.
It seems you can download the ISO directly from Microsoft, or from that site, and use their script to activate it.
I haven’t had the opportunity to test it yet, but seems “legit” to me.
For anyone who really can’t leave Windows, you may find the less-bloated LTSC and activation here: https://massgrave.dev/
The app is not going to suddenly stop working, and it’s unlikely to do so before a replacement appears.
I’m of the opinion that “AI” generated images can be art, but the art is in a real person selecting and giving meaning to it, not in the process the image came to be.
Well, beyond that the alternative is to abolish the state, which I’m not against, but the ideal would remain.
It’s an ideal in that people should be working towards taking control of the state apparatus and making it so. The class struggle will always make it impossible to reach, but it can always be pushed to be better.
Does anyone think it’s reality? It’s an unreachable ideal to be continuously worked towards.
Inconsolata and Cascadia are the best.
