I lived in the valley for a few years and am glad to hear that people are receptive to it as is the mayor but I’m unsurprised that there isn’t much political will to make it happen. Good on you for fighting the good fight though, I appreciate you

Full disclosure this is my first year with a garden so we’re still enjoying them just fresh on sandwiches and out of hand eating as we’re just getting the first ripe ones now. With 4 plants that are all taller than me though there is going to come a point where we’re going to have more than we can eat so I imagine we’ll probably can and freeze some but it remains to be seen
