Sorry, maybe because I’m American, so in case our other friends are confused… Managers are below Executives in every capacity and when you ‘flatten’ your radial grid, they mean firing managers. They are the yessiest of the yes men in corporate america.
C-Suite = CEO, CTO, CFO, etc.
Executives = Presidents, Vice Presidents, Directors, etc.
Managers = The people who manage the workers, ie handle scheduling, duties, metrics, and having to eventually fire someone because the people above tell them to.
Workers = The people who actually know the job.
It’s so cute that they put Managers above Executives. Man up and call it what it is, instead… The C-Suite
When one server goes down, it’s taken out back, shot, and replaced on the line.
And then Skynet remembers…
Probably found it when a computer was just sending Recall images out to a C&C server. Nothing to see here! xD
Am I the only person whose natural clock has me waking up later and later up to this point b/c of sunrise, and when this time change kicks in I’m back to waking up at the appropriate time and feeling amazing?
Hard to believe this is bad for me in any way. In point of fact, I don’t understand why we just don’t keep the clocks here.
Yeah now add Dynamics to all that and you get my day. Eyeroll
Bittorrent is a file sharing protocol, which isn’t inherently dangerous. The ‘torrent’ contains the information that’s being passed around to allow connectivity to that particular file. This is also not inherently dangerous as that information is very specific and limited… and doesn’t allow any other user to browse the rest of your computer.
What may be dangerous is downloading a file that contains malware or viruses via a torrent. Use reputable sites and keep your security software up to date. Better yet, use a different computer for this activity with a vpn.
If any representative from Brother is reading this, hear me.
DON’T ENSHITTIFY! You see this? You can own the market if you just LEAVE IT ALONE.
I thought it was pretty commonplace for people to just set up a vpn on their router and act like they’re on their own network. I guess I’m an idiot, but I’m actually surprised people were paying for this in the first place.
