It’s always bugged me that cities use this excuse but then they pave roadways and parking lots with drainage basins that shoot that water directly into the nearest river as fast as possible creating more impact than if every household had ten of these barrels.
Plus a lot of the time people collect rainwater to water their gardens instead of using city water so it’s just delaying the input of the water into the system.
I made an account but I don’t really see the appeal. It just feels like a bunch of random photos at the moment. Nothing I really feel like following, as it will just be more random photos.

I never really understand art like this. It’s unique, and interesting, and fun to look at, but it’s really not that special unless I’m missing something.
It’s just random shapes, and a unique set up. Like cutting the apples and fruit in certain ways.
Just seems like a lot of work for something to look at for 3 seconds since there’s nothing else to it.

It shows little popup logos on the screen where the places are located, like a McDonald’s logo a few street over as you are driving by in your commute. I had it show me a Toyota logo for a Toyota dealership yesterday. Like, why do I need to know there’s a Toyota dealership there unless I’m specifically searching for it? Toyota probably paid them to show up a certain amount of times.

After 30 or so roll calls and doing them every day I’m pretty sure you would remember that Greg goes by Molly. It’s not that hard to remember your students’ names.
Unless every kid in your class has a different name then maybe it might get difficult, but at that point the roll call paper would be pointless and they may as well just print it with the preferred names on it
They probably should just print it with the preferred names anyways.
Why do they need to filter?
Can’t they easily tell that an account bought a certain product? Only allow those accounts to make a review, and only accounts that have made a certain number of purchases before.
Where I am if it’s inside the house, like the outer door’s wall is insulated, than the room is a foyer/mud room. If it’s outside the house, i.e. the outer door’s wall is not insulated, then it is a sundeck.
If there is only one door and the outer area is exposed with just a railing instead of a wall it’s a porch/patio.

Personally I don’t even subscribe to any. I just browse all and then filter out any community that pops up which I don’t think I’ll ever be interested in.
I started to subscribe to a few but when browsing subscribed only I felt like I was potentially missing so much, because maybe I subscribed to the wrong “aww” instance but I also didn’t want to go through and find the 3-4 different versions to subscribe to.

It makes the exception for land use change for chocolate, but isn’t almost all agricultural land a land use change which contributes? Most soybean and other crops aren’t as effective at sequestering carbon as the natural grasslands they took over. Orchards and other crops also took over forests and turned them into pastures and fields.
If elderly people tripping is the biggest worry than instead of carpet they should floor it with outdoor decking vinyl or something. Waterproof and gritty for grip.

I am using discord for a discussion thread of one thing which follows a serial webnovel and it’s infuriating because when something new happens there’s always a constant influx of people asking the same questions because there is no way to pin or highlight pertinent information and no one is going to go scrolling through a million messages searching for the first time the question was asked and answered.
