Got my maters started late. The $6 crate store soil blocker my wife picked up last year to try broke after the first use, so we are a little behind.

Thankfully, this year, a lot of what we are trying is direct sow or already fall planted / perennial. Still gotta start cukes, melons, and some other stuff though.

There is no suitable place for an Octopus to wear either pants or a skirt. Octopuses are almost entirely made of face. There is no torso, no waist, no lower body. We call the appendages around the mouth “arms” (not “legs”) but they are more analogous to prehensile whiskers. I think they would be more likely to wear a cap or headband. A balaclava would be interesting.

You can look at anything around you, anyrhing, and your brain knows exactly what it would be like to lick it. Taste, texture, residue etc… it’s quite freaky

There used to be a pothole in front of my house that always came back. It was at a low spot and sent waves of salty runoff into my yard in the winter every time someone drove through it.

During Covid I while I was working from home, I watched as some workers rolled up in a pickup truck, hopped out of the bed with two 5-gallon buckets of cold patch, and just dumped it into the puddle that was the pothole, loosely spread it around with a rake, hopped back in the truck and left. All within like 2 minutes. A few days later. Someone must have come by to actually top it off and tamp it down, but within days if not hours my yard and the sidewalk were full of little black pebble that had been splashed out.

If only you could prepare food in some sort of edible wrapper so that it stayed contained as you move from one location to another or could be launched from a truck on the move… hang on! I have an idea!

Also in low light, our eyes are more sensitive to blue light, so moonlight (though not necessarily the moon itself) appears bluer than sunlight. Especially in contrast to nearby fire and coals.

2. Lots of folks have cats
3. You can already buy a commercially made strip and strap cutter. This is just fixed size version that uses a more common blade.

Honestly, my bigger gripe with the video is the little dots of hot glue. That feels like wouldn’t hold up (I’ve had cats disassemble store bought scratchers). I’d brush on flour paste or thinned down school glue for non-toxic full coverage. You could even mix in cat nip to encourage use.
