Haven’t paid enough attention to know how they list multiple 1/2 baths but pretty sure they don’t add up like regular fractions…
They’d either list them separately or as a whole and then clarify. E.g. "two full- and two half-baths"or something like “four bathrooms - two full”
What do you mean? He did step in, understood absolutely no context of the issue, told everyone to shut up, and then left without any real input. Fucking joke
And these social media outbursts aren’t accomplishing what they think they’re accomplishing.
I’m extremely technical, but not actively into Linux, though I’ve set up various distros dozens up times. These posts have driven me away from Linux in an extremely hard way - anyone with opinions like the Kernel team simply don’t deserve support, and Linus is clearly past his prime and making bad decisions. This has shown me that Linux is going to (likely already has) slowly stop improving due to its explicitly anti-progress leadership. Until a fork with good leaders manages to take a real market share, the OS will stagnate.
I’m sure this is a minority opinion, but to claim that the social media blitz hasn’t had its intended effect is objectively false. Fuck the kernel team.
You can either face reality or not, literally nobody cares about your opinion on the matter. Many people who don’t join lemmy say this, that is simple fact.
At best it would hamper some FOSS AI researchers that don’t have the resources to curate a dataset.
If you can’t source a dataset, then you shouldn’t be researching AI. It’s the first and single most important step of the entire process.
I found this reddit thread through Google lens, looks the same: https://www.reddit.com/r/plantclinic/comments/1hk3jab/confused_what_is_this/
tldr; some sort of scale bug
“Resisting the Musk algorithm?” Just fucking get off Twitter, it’s not that hard
A 20% drop in use on American Thanksgiving doesn’t seem even remotely outlandish to me
My favorite example of this was just a few years ago, when the media all reported that a woman had found a black hole. The coverage was all about her and how surprising it was… she was on a team of 6. We all just decided, fuck the 5 other people on her team who all worked together on the project. She wasn’t even a team lead or anything.
If only there was some sort of review process for code to get into the kernel…
They are free to use whatever license they want, but I am similarly free to avoid using software under non-FOSS licenses.
Crazy doesn’t necessarily mean wrong 🤷♂️ Stallman is undeniably crazy
So then it kinda just sounds like they’re doing things they want to do
Ha, I never would have thought of generating old game footage. I only ever played a little bit of FF11, but it’s been long enough that I 100% believed this at a glance.
It’s criminal to let someone do the thing he actively volunteers to do? It’s criminal to use software that someone intentionally puts out into the world as free?
If you’re willing yo do something for free, people are going to let you 🤷♂️
Also, not working out doesnt mean a dead cat. It meant she didnt like the taste of it so I switched back to food she would eat, with meat in it.
I’m glad you aren’t insane (really - I might think you’re crazy for trying, but thank you for seeing reason when it didn’t work out), but you have to understand that some people are. They will literally starve their pet out of their own foolish ideals.
All of these cause a great deal of harm.

I guess I’m a little confused… why are there duplicates at all? What operation are you performing that ends with duplicates?
Is this drive just where you download them to, and then move them to your organized drive? Why do the books ever touch this drive at all? If there isn’t supposed to be media on the drive, why not just delete the source folder after the organization task is complete?
Just to be totally clear, it was not real when I commented this 😂🤣
