Yes, but account/instance would need to actively research which instances are rogue, and beware of them. It could be solved by creating tool which would automatically detect this vulnerability feature.
I wouldn’t call it Pixelfed’s vulnerablility, but a reminder that nothing on Fediverse is private. Even if Pixelfed is fixed, someone can create rogue instance to read other’s private posts.
Ah yes, of course other generations are much better with technology than today’s teens.
True, Fediverse gives us freedom. Glad, that You enjoy it.
Btw, Bluesky isn’t really decentralized, but it’s still better than X. Freer alternative would be Mastodon. Thankfully Lemmy is decentralized, and thanks to ActivityPub, from here you can interact with Mastodon posts, or other compatible fediverse platforms.
It’s good to see Lemmy’s mythos expanding.
Maybe there is other I2P tracker, which accepts clearnet trackers. But even if you use Postman, I think you can still seed on clearnet, you would be discoverable by DHT.
It needs to have I2P trackers, most popular one is http://tracker2.postman.i2p/announce.php, and it doesn’t accept clearnet trackers. Once you download and configure I2P, seeding should be easy, because there is a torrent client included in the install.

Maybe something on I2P, to help grow the network.
To procrastinate.

Jerboa doesn’t have all the features, including searching for keywords. You can choose other app richer in features from here, or use web UI.
You can search lemmy for keyword email, and 99.99% of recommendations will be better than Gmail.

I didn’t ask to solve captchas, if someone wants to have accurate data, they better hire someone to train AI.
I did it just for fun, and it turns out, that reddit censorship is real.
I have made join lemmy post on my private subreddit with zero subscribers, and it got deleted

Linux was a mistake. Users were never meant to have full control of their operating system.

Sorry, downvoted anyway.
