2 months agoBengaluru, India, set up something similar. It’s called Namma Bengaluru, and it’s usually much easier to get rides here than on Uber or Ola (their local Uber competitor) since all the money goes to the driver instead of having to split it. However, I believe it’s open source instead of a worker owned co-op.
I don’t remember for certain, it was a while ago, but I believe that Uber penalises drivers who cancel too many rides
