This is awesome, will there be an api added? I’ve been trying to build an app for the same purpose myself.
No one is saying they shouldn’t make money, but for their social apps – just like they post on Facebook, Twitter, etc. They could also post on Lemmy, Mastodon, etc. And this gives their users the option to leave the big tech social platforms.
Nothing will change if no more people starts adopting fediverse, and a podcast about self hosting should at least also post on the fediverse as much as on the main social media apps

What are good sites for this great erm… streaming service
I’ve only worked at one software company where devs where allowed to install Linux as their OS. It was awesome… except when there was an update and then you had an urgent request from management while you where fixing what the update broke

Currently, dual booting Fedora and Windows 11 on my Asus gaming laptop, and I love Fedora, but it’s still not full sailing. Every other boot the wifi card doesn’t register and I have to reboot, others the OS freezes even though Grub doesn’t but nothing actually opens or closes, and lastly if the laptop is on battery and goes into hibernation, waking it up takes around 5-10 minutes. To add that gaming is still not as smooth as it is with windows, and I still have a use for Windows pOS.
This whole place looks like one big YEEEHAAAH code violation
Hey congress, so uhhh… you can 3d print a 3d printer
