I mean what Meta did hardly counts as piracy imo. They used the authors’ works without their permission to train their ai for profit. There’s a big difference between that and individuals pirating books to read and maybe making those books more accessible to others for free

There’s virtually no difference between this and divine right to rule. The rich deserve to be rich bc they worked hard is basically the same as God rewarded them with riches for being good. Either ways it’s just saying the rich deserve to be rich bc they’re better. And some of the common people have always gone “hey I’m pretty sure the only difference between us is what families we were born into”
