I have a server with a RAID-1 array, that makes daily, weekly, and monthly read only btrfs snapshots. The whole thing (sans snapshots) is sync’d with syncthing to two rPi’s in two different geographic locations.
I know neither raid nor syncthing are “real” backup solutions, but with so many copies of the files living in so many locations (in addition to my phone, laptop, etc.) I’m reasonably confident its a decent solution.
Logseq has a horrendous UX. The concept is amazing but check back in a decade to see if its usable.

Although it is the Tarot card that many people fear, Death generally does not mean physical death. The Death Tarot Card usually signifies spiritual transformation and a time of change and new beginnings, not actual death! The transformation or change that Death can bring can be difficult, unexpected, sudden or even traumatic but it will bring with it a new lease of life. Its best to try not to resist the change the Death Tarot card brings as resisting it will only make the transition difficult and painful. Instead try to embrace the change as a fresh start. This Major Arcana card can also signify the need to let go of old issues or beliefs when it appears in a Tarot spread. It may be telling you that you need to draw a line under the past in order to move forward in a positive direction. A Death card transformation can be a bit of a shock to the system but ultimately it’s a positive one.
Linux from scratch! Time for your spiritual Awakening as a graybeard OP!
It isn’t as dumb as it sounds, honestly! I used to use DBeaver and it is a fantastic project, but I really wanted Vim keybinds to construct my queries as they can sometimes be quite large. There used to be a plugin that added the functionality but it stopped working on my machine. This Vim plugin is essentially a wrapper for the CLI SQL client (psql in my case), so using it actually kind of makes sense, I think.
The biggest issue I faced was exporting the results, but I just created a function in my ~/.vimrc that copies all the text of the results to a new tab and formats it however I want. CSV, HTML, JSON, XML, Markdown, whatever I need is all there and predefined. All I have to do is call :ExportToMarkdown
and off I go.
You could also do I
or A
followed by esc
for the same effect.
Most often though I use /
or ?
to just go specifically where I want.

Meh. WoT is my favorite overall series but there are probably entire books worth of material that can be dropped. I bet a competent editor could tell the story in 7-10 books without really changing anything.
Do we seriously need to spend 15 chapters watching Perrin formulate a plan to save Faile, again?
Ebou Dar was really cool. I didn’t need to spend four books there.
After watching the entire first and second seasons my wife still didn’t (edit: completely) understand what the dark one is, what it wants, or who Rand is, why he’s important, or who the forsaken are and what they want.
I think that says a lot about the shows inability to convey even fundamental foundational information about the series.
ETA: Once I explained everything to her it all made sense, but that should have been the shows job, not mine.
Let’s go save Faile for the fourth time, except this time we’ll spend two and a half books on it!

I find if I add a few RSS feeds and then come back a few days later I have 800 unread links, get overwhelmed, and delete the app. I’ve never been able to make RSS stick for me.
Almost all of those are for the database release, not the production release.
Even if they are for the current production release was last April. Considering the buggy mess their product is, that’s kind of unacceptable for an app that is supposed to hold your entire lifes data.
My problem with forums is that they spiral out of control. Forum lovers see this as a huge plus but I’m not reading 1700 pages (not posts) of bullshit across three posts just to get to the current info.
Any time I see
