TIL they can be killed.
TIL they can be killed.
Never planted any seeds yourself, I see.
It looks like nothing at first.
Getting started is exciting–don’t shit on people’s joy.
I’m sure it depends on where you live, but in my area, those outdoor tiles last about a year, maybe two. Mine are growing mushrooms and maple seedlings as we speak. Time for a replacement. To be fair, it is very damp here.
I experienced this last year for the first time.
I don’t think our other dog really understood. I think we would have had to wait longer for her to come sniff in order for her to have understood.
I was afraid that I wouldn’t want to use the piece of furniture that we had always cuddled on and that we chose for her euthanasia, but after a week or two, it was fine. I don’t even think of it now, when using that furniture.
It was definitely the right choice.
Do you mean specifically in regards to euthanasia?
My dogs absolutely love the waiting room and meeting the people in it.
Also, for those who can manage it, it’s far better to have your dog put down in their own home.
Or Newfoundland or a poodle or a lab or a spaniel or a…
This is a good thought, but definitely not right. My dogs in the 80s and '90s were all terrified of the vet. Early aughts as well.
Since then, none of my pets have been afraid of the vet. The culture seems to have changed. All of my dogs have loved going to the vet since then. They go there and everybody loves on them. The cats are scared, because cats are always scared when you bring them somewhere weird like that, but the dogs mostly aren’t. Even my rabbit would get over the car ride and like the attention.
I like them. I like watching them walk around with their little heads bobbing to their steps.
Doves to do build the stupidest nests. That is one community I miss from reddit. And it’s just about the right time of year for it now.
Surprisingly a little known fact: pigeons are doves.
Except for the ratites, who are mostly a bunch of assholes (not you, kiwis–we love you).
Also legal. You can’t have the live crabs.
Stomping on them would be legal.
The idea is to prevent people from spreading invasive species, but in this case, the law is backfiring because it’s not people spreading the invasive species. It’s already here and spreading on its own.
European green crabs have started expanding into Puget Sound here in Washington in recent years. Part of the problem is that some people–such as myself–would happily catch and eat them, but as an invasive species, they’re illegal to catch/possess. I imagine our huge Asian population would also happily eat them. The fish and wildlife department really ought to carve out an exception so that we can all help slow their spread. They have the potential to destroy our native dungeness crab population (the green crabs eat the baby dungeness crabs), which is a huge commercial and recreational fishery.
I’m sorry to say it, but generally you need permits and such to move plants. You should find another home for them.
I agree. Low and slow, for sure.
It does affect the texture and cook time.
Excuse me, but you should really reduce that to a simmer after bringing it to a boil.
Jesus, they’re not even using SHA-2. It’s been available for ages.
