Weird, my neptune 4 pro just has metal spacers and no bed screws. Maybe they fixed it in a later release.
Edit: its the 3 pro my bad I’m dumb ;-;

I’ve only had the 4, but it serves me pretty well. I do have some issues with calibration sometimes but it’s pretty fixable with some tinkering. I think theferalengineer on youtube also has some videos about the neptune 3 and 4, he’s where I figured out how to put klipper on my 4 pro. Edit: I’m dumb I have the 3 pro sorry!
If you get the 4 pro, keep in mind it has auto bed leveling but if its uneven beyond the ability of the software it doesn’t have bed screws. I’ve had to shim mine with foil to make it level Edit: I’m dumb i have the 3 pro sorry ;-;
Plz gaben I want steamOS official so bad ;-;
My first guess would be your first layer is too low, just cuz the wrinkles usually imply too much material so it has to wrinkle up to make room.
I put the foil in larger squares to fit under the silver metal tubes used as offsets for the heated bed. I’m not sure if foil under the pei will work, my worry would be making the bed uneven vs just adjusting the position. I just remember getting under the silver tube things was a massive pain in the ass so I do hope the pei sheet idea works tho lol
Is this the one that doesn’t have adjustable bed springs? I had a bed that wouldn’t level on the neptune pro with no adjustable springs and software couldn’t compensate outside of small prints.
I had to take the bed apart partially and use little shims (in my case tinfoil) to even the bed to the point where mesh leveling could handle the remaining flaws.
It’s not like I make or save a lot of money from it, but as a hobby it’s been amazingly fun. Getting into basic 3D modeling has been really cool too, nothing quite hits like making something entirely unique and designed for a specific purpose, then watching your printer just crank it out in a day or two and your imagined thing is all the sudden real.
I’m sure other hobbies can do that too, but for me it was a really awesome feeling :)
I remember a chip clip model, but I can’t for the life of me find it >.<
That and just printing parts where multiple colors don’t matter.
Yeah main thing is Ventoy and images for windows 10 and 11. I also have some basic tools, and some portable versions of some games I like (OoT, Warcraft 3, etc).
“but seriously” “It was sarcasm” Ok bud :)
I mean they presume that people experience heat. We all know the weather changes, it’s a bit patronizing to be like “well u know its not always hot, on this post about heat”.
We know lmfao.
Helped my dad do tech support for a doc office. Even simple stuff like glucose meters barely worked on windows 7, and broke with windows 10. The web portal they used required a specific version of internet explorer to function. I think the biggest issue is always going to be how slowly these devices work in terms of drivers and software compatibility. For security and cost reasons, I’d guess.
I got mine a while ago, so they must have changed the firmware they have by default since then. Mine had some flavor of marlin with a super simple touchpad. Or maybe I have the 3 pro… Honestly, it’s been like 3 years and I still have to unpack the thing since moving, so I could be wrong on the exact model >.<
Edit: I looked up the old receipt its the 3 pro sorry ;-;
