Is the USSR count all medals of the Soviet States minus Russia? Or is Russia in this graph just the Russian Federation?
Is there a correlation between a country’s Navy and Gold medals? I think the USN fleet is larger than like the next 12 largest navies, and that’s not counting the USCG.
I think the 2nd and 3rd largest are the RFN and HMNS, just like this list of #2 USSR, #3 UK.
Doubt that’s what they’re doing. Also come be CNC kink.

Ha my sister had to learn FORTRAN for her research science work. Lot of long-term, old survey tools use it still. Apparently it was… not a pleasant experience to learn the language haha.

Hey I grew up everyday seeing this painting in my parent’s livingroom! They saw it in Paris back in the day and bought a reproduction from a painter there. I feel like a lot of paintings were “boring” to kids but not impressionists, even at like 6 years old I was quite blown away by Monet’s wild brush strokes up close they looked like waves!
I’ve since seen the original with my parents as well as a lot of impressionists over the years. They’re quite lovely to see in person. Degas is my favorite.
That majestic mustache looks like it had its own aelreons to maintain lift during flight
