Did small Nutanix deployments a while ago, and liked it enough to go all in on vSAN for the datacenter about 7 years ago.

No regrets. Great performance, no san storage, no San network. Easy to manage on dell readynodes.

You would increase the cost/complexity of every appliance.

It’s easier to just have the solar inverter and battery system independent of the equipment. It’s relatively inexpensive to retrofit a home for an auxiliary power source. The complexity is when you tie into the grid.

Some appliances are solar ready. Some hvac systems and pool systems accept direct solar panel connections.

If i weee i charge, i would require all homes to be able to support solar panels and a battery system. The cost to do so at time of construction is insignificant.

Do you have a basement you can use to access the pipes?

If you have a shutoff valve under the sink, shut it off and put the connection hose into a bucket and turn it own to see if it’s a faucet issue or if the pipe is blocked.

If the pipe is blocked you’ll want to figure out where it’s blocked at and put some heat on it.

Where is your shutoff valve in case your pipe froze and split?

Turn on the hot water to that faucet.

Feel the pipe under the sink. Is it frozen?

Pipes are typically in the wall, attic, or under the home. Try to get heat to the pipe by opening the cupboard doors to expose that wall to the heat.

Turn your home thermostat up a few degrees.

Whole home filter. Just a GE brand and the filters aren’t that expensive. It picks up grit that I’m sure isn’t harmful but would clog up the flow restriction/aerators and shower head. It also has activated carbon to reduce smells that may or may not be helpful.
