Anti virus? Just need common sense. Dont visit shady site and download random executable
Windows? Try linux mint if this your first time. I heard PopOS is good if you play games.

My bad. Not my native language. Thanks though
Yeah. Stay on your lane microsoft.
Ive been a long term windows user. Almost 80% of my life. Tried macos and linux but always went to windows. Last year, i decided to move away from big tech in general. Ive moved away from most of it except windows, which is windows 10 LTSC. I tried ubuntu, kubuntu, fedora gnome, fedora kde, kde neon, arch (failed hard), arctix, endeavour and lastly i settled with linux mint cinnamon. A couple of tweak and a few hours. It feels like home. Goodbye windows, you will not be missed. I do dualboot windows 10 whenever i need to use program that only support windows.
Lol. No worries. I prefer to keep it down low where i live. I found it anyway. Pretty easy to find it. Thanks!
Hey. Thanks for offering but i just found it.
Hey. Cant believe my country is in there. Never knew that. Wonder what is the instance name.
No backup for my media. Only redundacy.
For my nextcloud data, anytime i made major changes.
Yeah. They released a new black color. It used to be white, it look like a small air purifier.
Im running Aoostar R1 Intel n100 for 3 months now. I bought it barebone. I bought the ram, ssd and hdd seperately. It has 1x m.2 nvme slot and x2 3.5/2.5" disk bay. But i swap the wifi card to another nvme because im not using it.
Intel spec is 6w for n100 but my r1 total wattage is 32w idle including extra usb fan at the top. A bit at the high side after researching around but i dont really mind.
I used to do that but windows 10 ltsc. Now i just restored from system image. I do a fresh install, install all the drivers, tweak anything that needed tweaking. Then, i made a full image backup. Once in blue moon if my windows is bork. I restored the system image.
Im running fedora atm but its not all sunshine, sometimes when installing from software centre. It just hang at installing software. Bar not moving and i had to kill it manually and retry again.
This make me depressed.
I used intel nuc j5005 for 4 years iirc with 2 bay hdd enclosure, Orico brand. Never had any problem that i hear about such as random diaconnecting. Granted i used it to host my media. So i dont pratically mind if the data is gone.
I used openmediavault with usb boot drive. Internal 2.5’ drive as docker appdata. All my media files is stored on the external enclosure. The only problem i noticed is the temperature but thats because of high ambient temp.
If youre planning to use ext enclosure for critical data. Might wanna think twice. But, if you have proper backup plan. Sure why not.
My bad. I run linux mint myself but i dont play games on it. I heard popos was great for gaming but glad to hear linux mint is great too.
